Kanna and Kagura - An evening of Art and Performance - International Rope Artist Series

 International Rope Art Series

The Euridice Gallery and Ropes U will be exhibiting the work of some of the finest practitioners of Japanese Rope bondage in the world.

This Series of Opening Parties offers a rare look into the world of Japanese Rope Bondage known as Shibari and Kinbaku.  Representative visual work by the Artists will be on display, and the climax of the evening will be a special Rope performance by the artists.

Kanna is one of the only recognized deshi of Grand Master Akechi Denki. Kanna's style derives many of its forms from Hojojutsu ties that show an intricate pattern of elegant ropes in the back, balanced by minimal and clean lines on the front. Kanna's kinbaku is restrictive and often includes forms of breath control, with the placing of ropes and knots on the upper part of the body.
